Hello folks! Hope this finds you doing just fantastic. I was lucky enough to be able to make the trip to EAA Airventure in Oshkosh WI! I had a friend and his family who were driving down on the Tuesday evening and then another friend who was flying back on Sunday. So I figured I might as well hop the ride while I had the chance. We left Tuesday after work and drove through the night and arrived at EAA 7:00 Wednesday night. I met my friend Peter Lubig and set up my tent beside his Piper Pacer. This was the same guy who I went to Sun n Fun back in 2014. The first day was a more laid back day for me as I didn't get a whole lot of sleep during the drive up. The days after that were well spend attending forum's, doing fabric covering workshops, and touring the many booths and displays. Every day starting at 2:00 was the daily airshow that I took in different parts of. I met alot of very cool people. Sunday morning we packed up and took off at around 8:30 for a very scenic flight around the north route around the Great Lakes. We cleared customs at Gore Bay airport and then continued our way to Midland/Huronia airport where the Pacer is kept. Enjoy the pictures!
I spent lots of time in the Warbird section!
